Metropolitan Jonah discusses the Gospel of John chapter 17, the High-Priestly Prayer. Topics discussed include: 
(1) Different aspects of the glory of God: His Uncreated Energies, the manifestation of His power and authority, the manifestation of His presence to those in synergy with Him, and that all men can receive eternal life through Him; 
(2) On Knowing God; 
(3) In the name of Jesus = in His person; 
(4) The world, when used in the negative sense, is the dominion of Satan, the fallen and egocentric world ruled by passions, by the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life. This world hates Christians because they seek to do the will of the Father; 
(5) Christ prays for us to the Father as our Great High Priest and Mediator, and we enter into His prayer, i.e., in His person because we are in Him; 
(6) The key is being united with Christ and co-suffering with Him, because we cooperate with Him in synergy, doing His commandments --- doing them in, through, and by God; 
(7) "Sanctify them by Your truth": make holy, set apart, ordain. That which is sanctified also becomes the offering. Jesus offers Himself to the Father as a sacrifice, and He also offers the Apostles to the Father, sanctifying them by the Holy Spirit; 
(8) We are one in Christ with the Father by the Holy Spirit. He shares with us His glory, His sonship, His relationship with the Father. We are united with one another in His Body, the Church, through the bond of the love of God; 
(9) We are called to synergy with the mind of God, being His agents in the world. We must rid ourselves of egocentrism so we don't betray God; 
(10) Discussion about the Heterodox.
