Metropolitan Jonah discussed Chapter 2, The Creation, Chapter 3, The Fallen Angels and Chapter 4, The Intercession of the Angels. Issues discussed include the distinction between the fallen and the righteous, and the consequences for each. Parallels are drawn between these chapters of Enoch and the span of the created world described in the first and last books of the Bible -- Genesis and Revelation. The class ended with a discussion of head coverings for women, based on St Paul's discussion in 1 Corinthians chapter 11, especially verse 10 "because of the angels."
