Metropolitan Jonah discusses the 'Epistle of Enoch" within the Book of Enoch, specifically Chapters 1--3.
Topics discussed include: (1) Righteousness vs. violence and blasphemy. A rejection of the first temple and the person of Wisdom in favor of a blasphemous second temple; 
(2) The "Apocalypse of weeks" as a summary of the history of salvation. The seventh week focuses on an apostate generation, likely of the Sadducees and Pharisees. The clear parallels are discussed between Enoch's indictment of them and Christ's in Matthew 22. Both Enoch and Christ make it clear that a reckoning is coming for those who reject God and persecute his prophets, His Christ, and His apostles.
