The Book of Revelation, Part 6: Chapter 4

Topics include:
(1) Revelation chapter 4 as a vision of the Temple and of the Church; 
(2) On the Priesthood: offering sacrifice, cf. a Rabbi or a Protestant minister; 
(3) The Messiah, Jesus Christ, the Royal High Priest, brings together Priesthood and Kingship, offering sacrifice (His own body) and reigning over the Kingdom of Heaven, the Lord with His people; 
(4) On the sevenfold Spirit of God; 
(5) On the four living creatures: noetic beings, not material --- their description is analogy; 
(6) On "Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was, and is, and is to come" and the name of God; 
(7) Casting crowns: whatever status we have or victory we gain comes from God ... we return it to Him in praise and complete submission; 
(8) God glorified as Creator; 
(9) On rationalistic categories and dualism and scholasticism vs. Mysticism / Noetic perception, which is non-dual: examples of the Holy Trinity and our salvation as distinct people, yet united in Christ's body.
